Last week RainFocus kick-started 2019 with the Silicon Slopes Tech Summit in Salt Lake City, Utah. The conference relied on RainFocus to run all aspects of the event that included 120 speakers and 24,000 registered attendees. From the moment they registered online to the time that they were scanned into their last session, attendees, speakers and exhibitors were exposed to the full spectrum of RainFocus’ software. With SSTS just a few miles away from RainFocus’ Lehi headquarters, over half of the RainFocus team was there dressed in bright pink to help out.
A Conference Of Firsts
The Silicon Slopes Tech Summit marked a number of firsts for RainFocus. Not only was the Summit the first event that RainFocus has serviced in its home state of Utah, but it was only the second to feature a RainFocus booth. Prior to SSTS, RainFocus badge printers had never been used for an entire enterprise-level event. It was was a significant milestone to have printed the entirety of the attendee badges with printers operating directly on the RainFocus platform.
A Positive, First-hand Experience for 24,000 Registrants
For SSTS RainFocus partnered with Silicon Slopes, a non-profit-organization that serves the rising tech community in Utah by presenting companies with the opportunity to learn, connect and serve. With RainFocus as their strategic events partner the Silicon Slopes team was able to effortlessly manage sessions, speakers, and attendee data in real time. SSTS Executive Producer Stuart Gold exclaimed, “I was able to do all my planning from the start of the general session to breaks to meals, it’s been a pleasure!
